The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) is New Zealand’s workplace health and safety law. It introduces new responsibilities for managing the work-related risks that could cause serious injury, illness or even death1. There are certain health and safety requirements for workplaces that all PCBUs must meet. We have produced interpretive guidelines and fact sheets to explain what each requirement may mean for your workplace, your work, your workers or others at your workplace.

If you have any specific questions or concerns about health and safety in the workplace, please let me know.
